Idaho Guided Wolf Hunts with Deadwood Outfitters

Plan your Idaho Wolf Hunt with Deadwood Outfitters' experienced wolf hunting guides in the Sawtooth Units 33 and 34, permitted on 340 square miles of prime hunting land.

If you are in search of a Wolf Pelt, then hunting wolves during the winter months through March will produce better results.  Our Idaho wolf is easier to track in the snow, has had time to grow larger, and will have prime winter pelts.

If you are interested in Wolf hunting, then a fully guided, 4 Day Idaho wolf hunting trip is for you!

Mid to late winter is the best time to hunt wolves in Idaho. The wolves follow the elk and deer migration down to the winter range after December. We offer fully guided hunts from pick up and/or snowmobile. This is a fun and very challenging hunt with long range shots being the most common. Spot and stalk, tracking and calling can be effective this time of year. The hunt includes four fully guided days of hunting, meals and accommodations.

"I can't begin to tell you how spectacular this ride was... you are amazing!! Your organization, even "when stuff happens" was outstanding as was the quality of your stock and equipment.  The food, the hospitality, and the facilities were the best!  And then your gorgeous country.  I know that you didn't have a lot to do with that, but showing the best of it is what you do very well.  I am amazed at your energy and your commitment.  I feel very privileged to have been able to work with you."
