There’s nothing quite like cowboy camping in the Idaho backcountry. For families or small groups tired of the noise and crowds at busy campgrounds, this is your chance to truly get away. Our summer wilderness trips are for folks looking to unplug and soak in the quiet beauty of the mountains—just you, your people, and miles of fresh pine air.

We’ll handle the heavy lifting—literally. You’ll ride in and out on horseback, while we pack in your gear and supplies. When you arrive, we'll set up camp, ensure firewood's ready and the only thing left to do is settle in and enjoy. You bring the food and cook it your way.

Prefer a spot near water? We’ll place your camp by a lake or stream so you can fish, explore, or just sit back and watch the day roll by. It’s simple, peaceful, and real—just the way Idaho was meant to be.

"I can't begin to tell you how spectacular this ride was... you are amazing!! Your organization, even "when stuff happens" was outstanding as was the quality of your stock and equipment.  The food, the hospitality, and the facilities were the best!  And then your gorgeous country.  I know that you didn't have a lot to do with that, but showing the best of it is what you do very well.  I am amazed at your energy and your commitment.  I feel very privileged to have been able to work with you."
